

Cynthia Korndorffer Rauchle, a retired Teacher, born in New Orleans on October 31, 1940, passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 82. She attended Holy Name of Jesus High School and received her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Memphis State University. She retired teaching from St. Louis King of France in Bucktown. She was a parishioner of St. Henry’s Catholic Church. She was a member of Phi Mu Sorority.
Cynthia loved watching Hallmark Movies, particularly movies with Tyler Hynes. She enjoyed playing Solitaire and crossword puzzles. She greatly enjoyed cooking, specifically her Grandmother’s meatballs and her famous tuna ball. She adored her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years Bobby C. Rauchle; her parents Frederick August Korndorffer, II and Concetta Danna Korndorffer; her brother Frederick August Korndorffer, III and her aunt Jay E. Danna.
She is survived by her loving children, her daughter, Mary Danna Rauchle Seese (James) and her son, August C. Rauchle, III (Andrea); her sister Rosemary J. Korndorffer and her adoring grandchildren Alex, Claire and Bobby. Also survived by her nieces and nephews and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Father Robert T. Cooper, celebrant.
