Daniel was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Anita “Tockey” McCabe and his parents, Milton and Elsie McCabe.
Daniel is survived by his three children, Eugenie “Dinkey” Kreutzjans (Tony), Kevin McCabe, and Daniel McCabe, Jr. (Michelle); his four siblings, Maureen, Kathleen, Pat, and Mike; and his five grandchildren, Mac, Elizabeth, Jack, Will, and Francie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass in Metairie Cemetery.
