David Joseph Kirsch

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Lisa Fogarty Kirsch; his two sons, Henry Kirsch and Michael Kirsch (Olivia); and granddaughter, Olivia Blythe Kirsch, all who he was immensely proud of.

He is also survived by his mother, Hilda Suzanne Laughlin Kirsch; three sisters, Theresa K. DiCarlo (Vincent), Barbara K. DiCarlo (Dominick), Patricia Kirsch; and four brothers, Stephen (Melissa), Kenneth (Kara), Andrew, and Thomas Kirsch; as well as sister-in-law, Danell Barrett (John); and brother-in-law, Paul Salassi; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Francis Kirsch; brother, Paul Kirsch; sister-in-law, Paulette Salassi; and brother-in-law, Dan Fogarty.

David graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1980 and was a veteran of the New Orleans Police Department, proudly serving the City of New Orleans for over three decades, retiring as a Commander.

In accordance with his wishes, his family held a private memorial.
