David Wardlaw Moore, Jr., born January 20, 1940 in New Orleans, LA, passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 81. After graduating from Alcée Fortier High School, David served his country as a member of Louisiana National Guard. He also worked for over 30 years as a salesman for Times Picayune. David was preceded in death by his parents, David W. Moore, Sr. and Clare Hightower Moore; son, David W. Moore, III; sister, Kathleen Vick; and grandchild, Christian Corbin Moore. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diane L. Moore; granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Moore; and a host of loving relatives and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1908 Short Street Kenner, LA 70062. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery.
