Diane Lee Conner

Diane Lee Conner passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 56 years to Pierre Euclide Conner, Jr. Mother of Pierre Euclide Conner III (Linda) of New Orleans, LA, and Stephen Lee Conner (Beth) of Bogota, Colombia. Grandmother of Carlin Lee, Charlotte Elizabeth, Michael Everett, Camille Lee, and Shawn Elizabeth Conner. Sister of Judith Lee Cole and Sandra Lee Dupleix. Preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Lee, Jr. and Bernice Parmeley Lee.

Born in Denver, Colorado, Diane grew up in Lafayette, LA and spent her adult life in Baton Rouge. She attended Mt. Carmel High School in Lafayette, the College of New Rochelle in New York, NY and received her MA in fine arts from the Pope Pius XII Institute in Florence, Italy. She was parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral in Baton Rouge. Diane loved life and spending time with her family. Diane was an artist, and also enjoyed photography, nature in coastal Louisiana, and worldwide travel.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Lambeth House and Mary Cumbus for their support of Diane over the last several years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 6:00 pm. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 pm. Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Grand Coteau, LA, on Tuesday, May 27 at 11:30 am. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana or a charity of your choice.
