Dominick Raymond Rando

A graduate of Warren Easton High School, Dominick was a member of ROTC while attending LSU, and later served in the US Army attaining the rank of Captain.

'Nick' was a long-time employee and annuitant of ODECO. He was an active member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, spent many years as a member in the Krewe of Caesar, and thoroughly enjoyed the company of his friends, neighbors, and family.

Dominick was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Lucille Castelluccio Rando; his sister, Rosalie Rando Fisher; and his beloved wife of 49 years, Elaine Carroll Rando.

Dominick is survived by his brother, Salvador Rando; and his five loving children: Connie Masterson, Cindy Hubble, Ken Rando, Lori Rando, Greg Rando.

He is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m.
