Donald E. Lally, 65, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie for the past 62 years died Tuesday, December 1, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy V. Lally, Sr. and Yvonne Snakenberg Lally and sister, Yvonne (Mickey) L. Lambert. He is survived by his brother, Roy V. Lally, Jr. (Marilyn) and sisters, Nancy L. Schellang (Larry) and June L. Amico. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, Tammy Rocker (Mike), Theresa L. Mulhearn (Thomas), Lynnen L. Lambert, III, Stacy L. Thornton (Ronald), Marilyn L. Franicevich, Bonnie L. Lewis (Troy), Roy V. Lally, III, Larry D. Schellang, Jr. (Christine), David L. Schellang (Christine), Michael D. Amico, Gina A. Ashley (Scott) and Jonathan M. Amico (Kristin), twenty-five great nieces and nephews and 9 great-great nieces and nephews, his beloved cat Tibby and many, many close friends who were always there for him. He loved drinking his beer, NASCAR racing, hanging with friends and going to his friend Henry's camp in Bay St. Louis. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
