Donald Arthur Ordogne

Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Lois Jeansonne Ordogne; children Donald Ordogne, Jr. (Judy), Judy Mooney (John), and Barry Ordogne (Carla); grandchildren Jennifer Knox (Jay), Joseph Mooney (Lauren), and Daniel Mooney; great-grandchildren Ava Knox and Henry Mooney. He was preceded in death by parents Augustin Ordogne, Sr. and Myrtle Bray Ordogne; brother Augustin Ordogne, Jr.; and great-granddaughter Eleanor Knox.

Donald was a Navy Veteran and served on the Valley Forge Carrier and USS Taylor, 468. He was an electrician and a member of New Orleans’ IBEW Local 130 and Local 130 Retiree Club. He was a native of New Orleans, resident of Kenner for 53 years, and will be missed dearly.

A visitation for Donald will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM, interment thereafter at Lake Lawn Park, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, with a reception to follow at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home's Event Center.
