Donna T. LaRocca

She was born to Lois and James Trosclair on December 2, 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from St. Raphael the Archangel grammar school, St. Joseph Academy High School, and went on to graduate from Touro with her CRNA Degree. She worked as a Nurse Anesthetist for Parish Anesthesia and practiced primarily at East Jefferson for 45 years before retiring at the age of 66. She was a member of the Elenian Club of New Orleans and a devoted parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish in Kenner. In her free time, Donna enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading, and traveling.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Carmelo A. LaRocca; daughter, Carolyn L. Durham (Mike); sons, Vincent LaRocca and David LaRocca (Jennifer); sister, Carol Ann Blanchard (the late Roland); brother-in-law, Joseph LaRocca; sister-in-law, Anna Baker (the late Thomas); and grandchildren, Caitlyn, Carmelo, Landon, Victoria, Reid, Olivia, Kylie, and Landry.

Relatives and friends are invited to join us for a Funeral Mass officiated by Fr. Robert Cooper at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 12 PM. Visitation will begin at 11 AM. A burial will follow Mass in All Saints Mausoleum.
