

Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Daniel L. Lambert, Sr.; her parents, Anthony Joseph Christina and Alma Wilhelm Christina; her two sisters, Shirley Christina Hudson and Marian Christina Doucet; and her grandson, Jeffrey Michael Lambert.
She is survived by her son, Daniel L. Lambert, Jr. (Karen); her daughter, Dawn Lambert Goodbee (Gregory); her granddaughter, Christina Lambert Mendel (Audy); and her three great grandchildren, Gia Christina, Samantha Ann, and Rocco Joseph Mendel. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Christina Kelly, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
Doris was born and raised in New Orleans, and graduated from St. Stephen’s High School, class of 1949. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Benilde Parish since its establishment in 1964.
Doris enjoyed gambling at the casinos, crossword puzzles, and watching game shows; but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
