Dorothy Martinez Glenn

Dorothy Martinez Glenn entered into Heaven on Saturday, July 5, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 55 years, John Edward Glenn. She is survived by her son, Robert M. Glenn (Donna) and daughter Donna Ehlinger (Steve). She was a proud grandmother to Ryan (Jill) and Matthew Finney along with Johnathan and Robert M. Glenn, II.

Daughter of the late Virginia Ruiz Martinez and Anthony Forest Martinez. Sister of Ivy Murrill (Gordon), Isabell Klein (Roy), Tony Martinez (Rose), Huey Martinez (Peach), Larry Martinez (Neidra), Patrick Martinez (Evelyn), Virginia Bernard (Bill), and the late Hilda Chatham (Eustace), Thecla Davenport (Wilma), Anna McGowan (Arthur) and Marina Imphang. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Alec Imphang, numerous loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Age 89, a native of Belle Alliance, LA and a lifelong resident of New Orleans and Metairie, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM.
