Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur C. Riley; parents, Dudley Jefferson Walters and Bertha Moore Walters; and son, Ricky Riley Sr.
Survivors include her loving sons, Danny Riley (Cheri), Tim Riley (Melissa), and Chris Riley (Frankie); daughter-in-law, Gayle Riley; grandchildren, Ricky Riley Jr, Jamie Bourne, Tiffany Riley, Matthew Riley (Lexie Ewing), Megan Riley, Erin Riley St Piere (Cory), Jarrett Riley, and Cooper Riley; great grandchildren, Brionna Palmer, Brandon Palmer, Davy Palmer, Lathem Riley, Landon Riley, Owen Riley St Piere, Finn Riley St Piere, Liliana Riley, Ashlen Ewing, and Amerlie Ewing; great great granddaughter, Ella Palmer.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Monday, November 3, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans. Following the visitation Pastor Todd Smith will have prayers in the parlor.
