Dorothy Caroline Fetter Rotolo

Dorothy Caroline Fetter Rotolo passed peacefully at her home in St. Matthews, South Carolina on December 19, 2024. Mrs. Rotolo was a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish and a parishioner of St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Rotolo, Sr. for 47 years. Devoted mother of Joseph Rotolo, Jr. (Robin), Henry Rotolo, Linda Garrard (Jim), Jeannie Rotolo (Bo), and Dorothy “Dolly” Byrd (Terry). Daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline Fetter. Sister of the late Joseph Fetter, Victor Fetter, and Maybel Vogel. Grandmother of Cathy Rotolo, Robert Guiffria, Mike Tujague, Donald Tujague, Charles Sill, Jeff Tujague, Anthony Rotolo, Rebecca Relle, and Crystal Rotolo; great-grandmother of 21 (one deceased); and great-great grandmother of nine (one deceased); and her caregivers, Irene Sill, Carolyn Bull, and Jessica Sill.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00PM. The interment will follow the Mass at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
