IN THE CARE OF
Dudley "DJ" Joseph DeGruise, Jr. passed away on October 22, 2025 at 69 years of age. He was born in New Orleans, LA on July 1, 1956. He worked as a respiratory therapist.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Ellen Hawkins DeGruise, and parents, Dudley and Janet DeGruise.
Dudley is survived by his sisters, Claudia Schulz, Sandra Fugler, and Amy Songy.
The services will be on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Saint Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 10021 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge, LA 70123. The visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. until the memorial mass at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124.
