

Earl Randolph Angelo, Jr. passed away on June 22, 2016 at his home at 2:10 a.m. He was born in Buras, LA and moved to New Orleans and married the love of his life, the late Gloria Pohlmann and were married for 58 years; they lived in Chalmette until Hurricane Katrina, then moved to Madisonville. Earl is survived by his loving daughter Janice Angelo Lacoste and his dedicated son-in-law Edmond R. Lacoste, Sr.; grandchildren Eddie (Sandy), Randy, Edmond, and Cheri (Kris); great grandchildren Joshua, Meighan, Connor, Blaine, Geoffrey, Madison, Emma and Jacques; sister Cheryl Randazzo; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl Randolph Angelo, Sr. and Hazel Armstrong Angelo; sisters Deanna Gaffney, Charmaine Buxton, and Theresa Angelo. His fun loving personality will be missed by all. Earl enjoyed making monogrammed jewelry, playing golf, loved going to the casinos, and playing the horses. He worked for the Corp of Engineers and the U.S. Postal Service. After retirement, he went to work for the St. Bernard Water Board.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. Visitation will take place prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.
