Eddie Mims, Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the age of 89 years old. He was an owner/operator with White Fleet Taxi Company. Eddie is survived by his daughters Gale L Mims, Gay Mims-Muse (Byron), and Ella Wright; his sons Purnell Madison (the late Lois), Eddie Mims, Jr. (Cynthia), Donald Mims (Connie), Jeffery Mims (Dorothy), Bryan Mims (the late Chioke), And Mark A. Mims (Nichole); 25 grandchildren; and 42 great grandchildren; he is also survived by Lawerence and Olivia Bonnado. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years Yvonne Wyre Mims; his mother Mary T. Garrison (Melvin); his father Harvey Mims; and his two sisters Lou-Ann Mims, and Henrietta Mims. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment in All Saints Mausoleum.
