Edward Louis Minor, Jr., a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the age of 67. Eddy was the firstborn child of Blanche Mitchell Minor, who preceded him in death, and Edward L. Minor, Sr. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his daughter, Kerri Minor Dillard (Tyson); his grandsons, Kaden and Kason Dillard; his father, Edward L. Minor, Sr. (Charlene); his brother, Kim (Orelia) Minor; and his sister, Gia (Alonzo) Bowens. Also left to mourn his passing are his nephew and nieces, Derek, Demi, Madison, and McKinley; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends. A Mass in his honor will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana 70124. Visitation will be held at 9:30 AM with Mass to follow at 10 AM. Mass will be officiated by Fr. Howard Byrd, SSJ.
