Elaine “Mere” Hale passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the age of 90.

Wife of the late Thomas W. Hale, Jr. Mother of Thomas W. Hale III (Karon), Glenn Hale Sr., Scott Hale, and Karen Guillot.

Grandmother of Stacy, Sarah, Samantha, Sabrina, Glenn Jr., Michael, Bryan, Katie, Jennifer, Krystal, and Robyn.

Great grandmother of Kaylee, Samuel, Elijah, Luke, Sadie, Amelia, and Glenn III.

Sister of Kathleen M. Harris and the late Gordon Meyer, Jr. and Margaret Muller.

Daughter of the late George Gordon and Margaret D. Meyer.

Elaine was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and worked as a healthcare associate. Mere enjoyed Mardi Gras, dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid Saints and Elvis fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11am in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 9am.
