She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of nearly 52 years, Louis Francis Robért. Sr.; parents, Francesco and Vera DePino Ponzo; and sisters, Rosalie Grethe and Patricia Ann Ponzo DeGrusha
Elaine is survived by her son, Louis F. Robért, Jr. (Beth); daughters, Charlotte R. Chauhan (Sanjiv); and Christine Robért-Lamonte (Daryl); grandchildren, Elisha Robért, Seth Chauhan, Blake Robért (Hannah), Caleb Chauhan (Anishalys -fiancé ), Joelle Chauhan, Joshua Chauhan, and Madeline Robért; and great grandson, Julius Lee Robért.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Avenue in Metairie, on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11 AM with a Mass following at 12 PM. Elaine will be laid to rest in Metairie Cemetery immediately after the Mass has concluded.
