Elizabeth Teel Kenner passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the age of 98. She was born in New Orleans on December 11, 1919 and moved with her family to Gulfport, Mississippi at the age of 7. She returned to New Orleans after her marriage to Alexander Erwin Ralston, Jr., who died in 1955. She was also predeceased by spouses Thomas O’Neil and Minor Kenner.
She was a devoted Catholic who spent countless hours praying for those in need. She was admired by friends and family as a loving, generous and fiercely independent spirit who touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her three sons: Alexander Ralston, Wesley Ralston (Lynn), and Lester Ralston. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Alexander Ralston IV, Christine Ralston Smith, Wesley Ralston, Jr. (Cayli), Graham Ralston (Adele), and Cortland Ralston, as well as four great-grandchildren: Riley, Mears, Emma, and Holt.
The family wishes to thank a dear friend and devoted caretaker, Ann Hernandez, for her love and kindness.
There will be a private service and inurnment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
