

Elizabeth Kearns Kuckelman, beloved “Mimi” to the Frosch and Terry families, passed away on February 4, 2018, at the age of 92. She was born in Kansas City, MO on May 1, 1925 to the late Barbara K. and James A. Kearns, Sr. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Leonard J. Kuckelman of Jefferson, LA, they were married on October 23, 1948. Loving mother of Jane Ann Frosch and her husband Craig of Jefferson, LA. Caring grandmother of Jon Edmond Frosch and wife, Jennifer of New Orleans, LA and Zachary Paul Frosch and wife, Candace of New Orleans, LA. Sister of James A. Kearns, Jr. of Kansas City, MO and Raymond Kearns of Camdenton, MO.
Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from St. Theresa College. She was a devout catholic and a parishioner of St. Christopher the Martyr Parish. Mimi loved to bake and was an excellent seamstress. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 12 Noon. Visitation will begin at 10 o’clock until service time. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
