peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Elenoar Schneider. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Henry Hoffman. Loving mother of Michael Hoffman (Margaret), Clare Waldo (David), and Cathy Hoffman. Devoted grandmother of Julie and Becky Waldo. Ellenore was a lifelong resident of Metairie and parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena.
She was a past treasurer of St. Catherine's Youthful Elders, a member of the Rosary Altar Society, a Eucharistic Minister, and past treasurer of the Jefferson Parish Golden Agers. She will be greatly missed by all.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 15, 2014 at St. Catherine of Siena, 105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie, LA 70005. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Catherine Vincent DePaul Society or St. Catherine Church building fund.
