

Emile Lecler Randon passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on January 12, 1956, in New Orleans and was a lifelong resident of Metairie. He graduated from De La Salle High School and went on to further his education at Tulane University, the University of New Orleans, and Delgado Community College. Over the course of his career, Emile worked in sales and customer service, where his warmth and easy way with people served him well. He was a creative spirit and a writer, always finding new ways to express himself. Those who knew Emile remember him as outgoing and endlessly kind. He never met a stranger, and his empathy touched everyone who crossed his path.
Emile was preceded in death by his father, Rene’ Laurent Randon, Sr., and his two sisters, Ellen and Suzanne Randon.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Lecler Randon; his siblings, Rene’ Randon, Jr., Jeanne Campbell (Volney), Cathleen Stuart (Bruce), and Ann Randon (Robert Deano); nieces and nephews, Emily Schulte (Brett), William Campbell (Leah), Allison Stuart, and Rob Stuart; one great-niece and two great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Rd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 12 PM – 1 PM with a Mass to begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, masses and donations may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA 70005.
