EmmaLou is survived by her husband, Lindy J. Sourita, Sr.; her son Lindy J. Sourita, Jr. (Maribel); and her daughter Vicki S. Montgomery; her grandchildren Danielle Sourita and Natalie Sourita.
EmmaLou was preceded in death by her parents Francis Adolph Bienvenu and Thelma Lillian Hewitt Bienvenu; her sister Grace Robert and her brother Jack Bienvenu.
A visitation for EmmaLou will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana 70124, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
