Eric Siragusa

Eric Sebastian Siragusa passed away on March 1, 2016 at age 42. Eric was active with the Boy Scouts of America, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Gold Palms. He was also a ranger at Philmont High Adventure Camp. Some of his most fond memories are of the family fishing camp at Lake Hermitage. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. Eric had a deep love and appreciation of the outdoors and all nature’s creatures. Eric a former altar server at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and was a current parishioner of Our Lady of Divine Mercy Catholic Church.

Eric is survived by his parents Lucienne Ducote Siragusa and Paul P. Siragusa; brother Paul John Siragusa (Lauren); Aunt Marie Sheffield, Ted Daigle, Aunt Yvette, Suzanne, and Denise; and numerous other friends and family members. He was preceded in death by Nana, Auntie Fray, Aunt Jo, Grannie & Paw Paw, and beloved pets Kivi and Shadow.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will take place prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, masses preffered.
