Ernest Micheal Schilling, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Ernest is survived by his parents, Jeanne G. and Ernest Schilling; his brother, David Schilling; grandmothers, Nancy Gates and Bennie Mae Schilling; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his two grandfathers, Herbert Gates and Felix Schilling. Ernest enjoyed playing cards with his dad and friends, videos games and caring for his pets. He was an avid reader and a good friend to many. Ernest will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
