EUNICE SCHWANDT LANDRY on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Age 95 years. Mrs. Landry was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Metairie, LA for over 45 years. Eunice was a homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed her family, gardening, antique shopping with her daughter on Saturdays on Magazine Street, and refinishing furniture finds. She also loved animals and had many family pets through the years. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Loving wife of the late Andrew Michael Landry, Sr. Beloved mother of Eunice “Honey” Landry Durel (devoted son-in-law Jude Wallace Durel) and Andrew Michael Landry, Jr. (Vithanie). Daughter of the late Nora Lonergan Schwandt and Emile Schwandt. Sister of the late Mildred S. Kelley, Helen S. Luce, Alma S. Pignone, Rita S. Clancy, Hazel S. Hartenstein and Emile Schwandt, Jr. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and great, great nephews.
