Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Joseph John Bodine, Sr.; her parents, John W. Boyle Jr. and Leontine Edel Boyle; granddaughter, Katherine E. Bodine; great grandson, Noah J. Ford;
She is survived by her sons, Joseph “Joe” Bodine, Jr. (Debby) and Anthony “Tony” Bodine (Peggy); grandchildren, Joseph III (Lori), Brittany (Jonathan Ford), Edouard, Anthony Jr. (Kayley), Andrew (Jeannette), Alyssa (Cody Triche); and great grandchildren Zoe Bodine, Grace Ford, Anthony III, Kamryn, Madelyn, Alexander, Sofia, Peter Bodine, and Kruz Triche; sister, Joan Marie Boyle Meariman; and brother, John W. Boyle, III.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 9 AM. After the Mass, Evelyn will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park.
