On September 2, 2014 Evelyn Julienne Clement Caruso entered eternal rest. She was 90 years old. Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Henry Caruso and the daughter of the late Philip J. and Julienne Bernard Clement. Evelyn was the beloved mother of Margaret Caruso Golemi. She was also the much loved grandmother of Christian (Jennifer), Jared (Emmie) and Justin Golemi and great grandmother of Grant, Connor, and Emilia Golemi. Evelyn was preceded in death by sisters Effie (Vincent) Patureau, Ethel (Michael) Frady, and brothers Earl, Ervin (Flavia), Philip and Elvin (Lindy) Clement. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School.
Relatives and friends are invited attend the Funeral Mass on September 8, 2014 at Lake Lawn Funeral Home, 5100 Ponchartrain Blvd., New Orleans. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until Mass starts at Noon. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael’s Special School or masses preferred.
