Evelyn Vickers Resendez

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred A. Resendez, former husband Edward M. Browning; step-son Leonard P. Resendez and grandson Michael A. Browning.

Evelyn is survived by her sons Michael L. Browning (Carolyn), and Ronnie G. Browning (Katie); step-daughters Cindy Resendez Wortmann (Alton) and Bonnie Resendez Morlier (Wayne).

Also survived by nine grandchildren Gable Mullen Browning, Alicia Resendez, Mark Joseph Browning, Amber Browning Urdiales, Wayne Morlier, Jr., Matthew David Browning, Scarlett Morlier, Garrick Resendez and Lacey Morlier, and eleven great grandchildren.

She is the daughter of the late William E. Vickers and Myrtle A. Vickers and was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Evelyn was born in Clay County, AL on April 15, 1928. She had a successful career for many years as an officer of Turnbull Cone Baking Co. in New Orleans.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd.(in Metairie Cemetery), on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
