Fara is survived by five loving sons, and one of her two daughters (her youngest daughter died in 2020).
She is also survived by two sisters, and brother-in-law, and by her brother and his wife; their children, and a number of cousins whom she loved very much.
Fara remained in touch with her graduating class (1962) of nurses from Hotel Dieu. Her family is very grateful for the support and love of each of these former classmates, and to her siblings, her in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, her grandchildren, and for the care-givers that helped sustain her the past decade of her life. One person in particular, whom she met as a peer on nursing duty at St. Tammany Parish Hospital Ambulatory Ward, was able to extend weekly visits to Fara the last years of her life.
Thank you to members of Bride Adorned Church for your communications in helping her joy.
Fara received solace through the members of her community in the Catholic faith, both from Our Lady of the Lake and Sacred Heart Church.
For the past three decades Fara made her home in lovely Lacombe, Louisiana.
Blessed be the Lord,
who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah
