Farrel Joseph Ardoin, a resident of Kenner, LA, passed away on December 19, 2014 at 82 years of age. Farrel retired in 2002 as Vice President of Acme Mausoleum Corporation, a division of Stewart Enterprises. He served as President of the Louisiana Cemetery Association from 1995-1996. Farrel was the devoted and beloved husband of Betty B. Ardoin. Farrel is survived by two loving daughters, Deborah A. Wynot (David) and Gina A. Sensebe (Joseph) and his step-daughter Donna L. Ward (Glenn), eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three half-brothers, Vernal and Robert Ardoin, and William Collins, his half-sister Margie Ardoin Willie, and his cousins, Gayle and Norwood Camus.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
