Fay Ann Herzog

Fay Ann Herzog, a retired social worker for family services passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the age of 75. Fay was a native of New Orleans and resident of Metairie. She attended Sacred Heart of Jesus High School. She received her Bachelor Degree from the University of New Orleans and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Tulane University.

She enjoyed horticulture and grew a large variety of ferns. She loved all types of animals and was an owner of dogs, cats, horses, koi fish and exotic birds. Fay’s kind heart will be remembered in caring for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony George Herzog and Aline Helen Mauer Herzog. She is survived by her cousins, Joelyn Cunningham West and Nancy Cunningham along with other family and friends.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held in All Saints Mausoleum, (Sacred Heart of Jesus Court) 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
