Felix Daniel Robin, Jr “Danny”, age 67, went to his heavenly home unexpectedly on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at his home in Hammond, LA. He was born in New Orleans and was raised in Kenner, LA, to the late Felix Sr. “Danny” and Evelyn Robin. He retired from Winn Dixie as a Reginal Supervisor after 38 years. He was currently employed by Great American RV as the Facility and Maintenance Director for 6 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren. He was an all-around handy man and never encountered a problem he could not fix, he never gave up.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Rose Catalanatto Robin; adoring daughter, Mendy Robin Dunn and husband Chris; his grandson aka Little Dude Graham Daniel Dunn, and granddaughter aka Doodlebug Maddelana Rose; beloved sister Antionette (Annie) Robin Brocato (Anthony), brother, Joseph Robin (Donna); sisters-in-law, Sue Musacchia, Marie (Melena) Berry (Lawrence), and Lisa Catalanatto, and brothers-in-law, Luke Catalanatto (Dianne), Vincent Catalanatto (Myra); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and grandparents, James and Antionette Sansone "Little Mamma", David and Esther Boudreaux; great grandparent, Maddelana Barcelona "Big Mamma"; and his late brothers-in-law Paul Catalanatto and Joseph Musacchia.
Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of life services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 with the visitation beginning at 12 PM and Mass following at 2 PM. Father Raymond Igbogidi will be officiating the services with interment to follow Mass in Lake Lawn Cemetery in Metairie.
