She is survived by daughters; Laurie (Kenneth) Kincade, Ellen (Donald) Baumann and Robin (Frank) Weaver, brothers; Leo Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Richard Kennedy, and John Kennedy.
Florence is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Kennedy, Sr. and husband; Alfred B. Powers.
Visitation for Florence will be Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, La. Mass will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
