Floyd is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Kim Maxwell; his son, Benjamin Conner (Nicole); and his four grandchildren, Cillian and Kellen Conner and Emily and Tanner Brinkley.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelby Brinkley, and his parents, Sam and Jacquelyn Maxwell.
Floyd was born on March 25, 1947 in Miami, Arizona. He was a graduate from the University of Arizona, where he received his Bachelor of Arts.
Floyd was a Yavapi County Sheriff's Office police officer (in Arizona). He was also an iron worker, and was a member of the Iron Worker Local 75 in California.
Floyd loved horses and farm animals. He enjoyed watching boxing and MMA sports, but most of all he loved being around his grandchildren.
