I had the blessing of meeting Fouad in 2001, when he and my son were best friends in middle school. On occasion my son would ask if we could take Fouad to his home and I always said yes. I was also fortunate enough to meet his Mom and siblings at their home. Several times my son would ask to go to Fouad's home or go with him to the family business in New Orleans and of course I agreed because of the character of this fine young man and his family. Fouad was always smiling and happy and a good influence on my son. You have been taken from this earth way too soon in your journey of life and depriving the people you knew and the people you were to know the joy of you being you. Fouad, you will be dearly and fondly missed by everyone that had the great opportunity of knowing you, and will reside in their thoughts and hearts forever. God Bless.

This young man was such inspirational figure to our youth . He and his family have done so many positive things for New Orleans and surrounding communities . His loss is not only felt by family and friends , but an entire city.

Fouad will always be in my heart. I remember how his face would light up when he spoke about his daughter; and I will never forget the bond he shared with my son, Kyle. As a parent, it was very reassuring for me to know that he was always there for my son. We are very fortunate, and truly blessed, to have had him in our lives.

Rest In Peace, Fouad. We will always love you!
