Gary Anthony Cimo passed away at the Sanctuary at Passages Hospice in New Orleans on Sunday, December 4, 2016 of heart failure. He was born on September 17, 1937 in New Orleans, and resided in Metairie for 40 years. He was the owner of Cimo’s Limousine Service, and a retired trucking operator. He was previously married to Madeline Rasmussen, as well as Dorothy Bassett Cimo. He is survived by his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Sandy Cimo Rabalais and James “Marty” Rabalais, III, and many beloved family and friends. Gary was son of the late Joseph J. Cimo and Norma Savoie Cimo. He is preceded in death by siblings Joseph P. Cimo, Deloris C. Napolitano, Shirley C. Bryant, and James D. Cimo. Gary traveled many highways in life. He loved Italian food, General Motors, and all things Cadillac. A special thank you to the staff of Passages Hospice, especially Shannon and Nurse Abigail.
