Gary Rolland Kelly

Gary Rolland Kelly died on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the age of 67, after a short battle with aggressive pancreatic cancer, the disease, which took his mother. After graduation from Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio, Gary earned bachelors and masters degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Illinois. After a career in the defense industry in Washington, DC, Gary came to Slidell to help care for his parents. Gary enjoyed participating in the Grown Ups at Aldersgate United Methodist Church and Ochsner Golden Opportunity. For 14 years, Gary was an election commissioner in St. Tammany Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolland R. Kelly and Rosetta Fulco Kelly.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 11:00am to 12:00pm followed by Funeral Mass at 12:00pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La. Interment in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum will follow the service.
