Gerald Christopher Fiser

Gerald “Chris” Christopher Fiser passed away surrounded by his loving family at Slidell Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 59. He is survived by his two children, Kai and Easton Fiser and four siblings, Philipp, Hanno, Michael, and Mary-Beth.

Chris was born July 18th, 1965 in Hollywood, California. The son of Bärbel Howell and Gerald Fiser, he spent his childhood in Louisiana and Oklahoma. Chris graduated with honors from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s in journalism. He had a career in advertising and in the tech industry as a program developer with companies like Levi Strauss and Hewlett Packard which he took pride in. Though Chris valued hard work, he always wanted to express the importance of connection and positive relationships. Friends and family will forever remember his warm attitude towards others and the charismatic energy he always brought with him wherever he went.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a graveside inurnment at 12 PM on August 25, 2025, at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124.
