Geraldine Lee Bordelon

Geraldine Lee Bordelon passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the age of 91. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She graduated from St. Stephens High School in 1944. Geraldine was an avid bridge and card player and her “joie de vivre” was felt by all that knew her.

Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Raymond J. Bordelon, Sr..

Mother of Susan B. Schoeffler, Raymond J. Bordelon, Jr., Lisa M. Bordelon, and Lori Demonsabert.

Grandmother of Johanna Schoeffler, Kristoffer Schoeffler, Domonique Schmidt, Kyle Bordelon, Kurt Schoeffler, and Drew Bordelon.

Survived by ten great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 12 PM in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. The rosary will begin 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery #2.
