Gerard P. Gambino "Pawpaw"

On Monday July 21st, 2014 Gerard P. Gambino (58) a native of New Orleans, resident of Slidell passed away at his home. He was the son of the late Rosalie L. Gambino and Anthony Gambino. Nephew of the late Salvadore and Juliette Marciante. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 40 years Kathryn K. Gambino; devoted children Kristine G. Taylor (Brandon), Valerie R. Gambino, Gerard “Bubba” Gambino (Amanda), Tristan, Nicholas, and Donovan Gambino. Pawpaw of Destiny, Kristian, Julien, Aiden, Timothy, and Madison. Brother of Juliet Voebel (Eric). He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends. His other family which consists of baseball members, Chaos and Vipers coaches, players and parents. Thank You for your love and support.

Jerry was a retired Boilermaker with Local No. 37. A proud employee of the Crescent River Port Pilots Association, he took much pride in his work. He was also a member of the Metairie Masonic Lodge No. 444.

The legacy he leaves behind is his everlasting love and compassion to his family. He will remain in our hearts forever.
