Gertrude “Trudy” Agnew Bounds, a retired Registered Nurse from Dupont Chemical passed away at Christwood Retirement Community in Covington on Sunday, December 20, 2015. Age 90 years. A native of Emsworth, Pennsylvania; resident of LaPlace, LA and most recently Christwood in Covington, LA. Beloved wife of the late Marlin Ellis Bounds. Daughter of the late Samuel and Gertrude Lockard Agnew. Loving mother of Patty Bounds Maltese of Covington, LA., Jeffrey Ellis Bounds of Tickfaw, LA., Beth Bounds Heltz of Prairieville, LA. and Bonnie Bounds Vaughn of Prairieville, LA. Mother-in-law of Anthony E. Maltese, Cameron Heltz and the late Donnie Vaughn. Grandmother of Kirk C. Maltese, David A. Maltese, Jeremy E. Babin, Laura L. Laroze and Jacey B. Haydel. Great grandmother of Tyler, Alexis, Ashleigh, Madeline and Ellis Maltese and Trace and Claire Haydel. Preceded in death by her siblings: Dr. Harold S. Agnew, Anne A. Agnew and Florence Agnew Forte.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
