Gladys Isabel Schultz

Gladys Isabel Leftwich Schultz passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the age of 94. She now has rejoined her late husband, Jerry J. Schultz, Jr. in their heavenly home. She is survived by her son Gregory Schultz and daughter-in-law Linda. She is preceded in death by her two sons Jerry J. Schultz, III and Robert Daniel Schultz. Gladys was a loving grandmother to Lara Schultz, Leah Delatte(Tommy), Amee Schultz, Melissa Barbato (Michele), Jennifer Schultz, Gregory Schultz, Jr., Danielle Payne (Vance) and Sally Goodnight (Kirk), great grandmother of Kasey, Lenny, Randi, Jessica, Giulia, Tessa, Georgia, Marilyn, Maxwell, Elijah and Stewart, great-great grandmother of Jeremiah, Sophia and Lilly. She was born on August 17, 1922 in New Orleans, La to her parents, Isabel Villar Leftwich and Robert Leftwich. Gladys is preceded in death by her siblings; Austin Leftwich, Robert Leftwich, Virginia Webb and Audrey Scholl, and her granddaughter Karen Schultz. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11AM. Visitation will begin at 9AM until service time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
