Gladys Gayden White

Gladys Gayden White, age 89 years, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Colonial Oaks Living Center in Metairie, LA. Gladys was one of Jehovah’s Witness. Beloved wife of the late Mose White. Daughter of the late Silas Gayden and Letha Otis Gayden. Sister of Sam Gayden, Joseph Gayden, Mavis Taylor and the late Bertha Bridges, Elizabeth Gayden, and Estelle Lee. Also survived by her dear friends, Evelyn Wegener, Georgine Bates, Laverne Wright, and a host of nieces and nephews. Gladys was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Metairie, LA and was a retired Dental Assistant after 40 plus years of service. The family would like to thank the loving staff of Colonial Oaks Living Center and Hospice Associates for their love and support throughout this time. Relatives, friends of the family, member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Metairie, LA and the staff and residents of both Colonial Oaks Living Center and Hospice Associates are invited to attend the funeral services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Brother Mark Wegener to officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
