Glen Robert Hollinger Jr. born November 3, 1946 passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 76. He enjoyed football, cooking, landscaping his back yard, gardening, reading, outdoor camping, collecting coins, arrow heads, and artifacts. He was the family historian. He set many records in track and football in high school. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Hollinger and Florence Addis Hollinger; brother, Robert F. Hollinger. He is survived by his wife of nearly fifty years, Kathy Blancher Hollinger; brother, Thomas A. Hollinger (Teddie), and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Ann and Maria from Fresenius Kidney Clinic for such great care. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM followed by a Mass at 12:00PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer masses said for Glen.
