Glenn Bernard Guilbault

Glenn Bernard Guilbault passed away unexpectedly and peacefully from heart disease on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 73 in his home. He married the true love of his life 51 years ago. He was a highly respected Certified Public Accountant for 50 years. He loved his family and friends with a passion and enjoyed entertaining them with his stories. He welcomed all with open arms, was generous, and always ready to help solve problems. He was a mountain of a man with a personality and voice to match. Glenn was happiest surrounded by his family. He could often be found working in his yard, always creating beautiful settings.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Clare Lemarié Guilbault; his sons, Glenn “Beau” Guilbault Jr. (Lili), Travis Guilbault, and Bart Guilbault (Rachel); his grandchildren, Lauren, Justin, Emma, and Sienna Guilbault; by Emma’s mother, Krystle Schneider; and by his sister, Julie Rodrigue. He is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Paul Guilbault and Catherine Vogts Guilbault and his brothers, Robert Paul, Michael C., and Charles “Corky” Guilbault.

A memorial service for Glenn will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with a Mass to begin at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow at Metairie Cemetery.
