

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Vilma G. Norton and Edward J. Norton, Jr. Brother of Gerard Norton (Toni) and the late Greg C. Norton (Ariane). “Son” to Tom and Mary Ann Ryan. Glenn is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a populous amount of family and friends. Glenn is also survived by his favorite associate, Stampy.
A lifelong New Orleanian, Glenn graduated from Brother Martin High School in 1981 and continued his education at the University of New Orleans where he received an MBA that helped him become a successful small business owner. Glenn was chosen as a recipient of the Order of St. Louis IX Medallion, presented by the Archdiocese of New Orleans to honor members of the laity who contribute time and talents to the church, specifically for Glenn the St. Louis King of France Men’s Club, Athletic Department, and Bucktown Seafood Festival Committee. Glenn was a supporter of Hogs for the Cause as a member of Mazant National. Glenn was passionate about cooking and fishing. Glenn could be found sitting at the camp on the porch in Bay St. Louis playing his guitar while watching the sunset.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, January 13, 2023, beginning at 8:30am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment in Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.
