Gloria Vaughn Cimini

Gloria Ann Vaughn Cimini, 90, of New Orleans, Louisiana entered into heaven on October 24, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Sheffield, Alabama on September 2, 1926 and was the daughter of the late James Roland Vaughn and Olga Weitzel Vaughn. Gloria graduated from Sheffield High School and later graduated from Southwestern at Memphis where she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity. During graduate school at Newcomb she met her husband, the late Benedict Cimini, Jr. Gloria is survived by her daughter Kathryn Mehl Cimini and son Roland Vaughn Cimini (Susan). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Brook Benedict Fabacher, Jonathan Michael Artigues, Alexandra Elizabeth Cimini, Juliet Eliana Deteveaux Cimini, Pellegrina Ann Vaughn Cimini, Benedetto Burch Cimini, and James Roland Vaughn Cimini. She loved many dearly, and was dearly loved. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1545 State St., New Orleans, LA 70118.
