Gloria Cassaday Uhl passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born in New Orleans to the late Charles and Victoria Cassaday. Beloved wife of the late George W. Uhl. Loving mother of Joy Uhl Bridges (Sam) and Wayne Uhl (Heather). Grandmother of Brian Bridges (Michelle), Susan Trahan (Mary), Emily Uhl, and James Raybon (Samantha). Great grandmother of Luke Trahan and Ava Raybon. Sister of the late Charles Cassaday, Catherine Fennell, Lucille Cassaday, and Marie Ennis. She is also survived by her nephew, Larry Fennell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at noon. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gloria’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
